FastVPN uses the Android VpnService API to create a secure, encrypted VPN tunnel that routes your device's network traffic through our servers using the WireGuard protocol (an open-source VPN protocol). This protects your internet traffic from being intercepted on untrusted networks.
The Kill Switch feature, when enabled, blocks all internet traffic if the VPN connection drops unexpectedly, preventing unprotected data from being transmitted.
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the VPN service:
a) Device Identifier
A randomly generated device ID is used to identify your device anonymously. No account registration, email address,
name, or other personal information is required.
b) Device Information
Operating system version and app version, collected for compatibility and troubleshooting purposes.
c) Connection Metadata
When you use the VPN, we record: connection timestamps (connect/disconnect times), the server location you connected to,
session duration, and bandwidth usage (bytes uploaded and downloaded). This data is used for service operation and is stored on our servers.
d) Connection History
Your connection history (server, duration, bandwidth) is stored both locally on your device and on our servers
to display in the app's Connection History screen.
FastVPN operates under a strict no-log policy for network activity. We do NOT collect, store, monitor, or log:

Our VPN servers are located in multiple countries. Connection metadata may be processed and stored on servers outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data regardless of where it is processed.
FastVPN is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact support@fastvpn.wiki and we will promptly delete it.
